Taking the slab edging out of the slab-pouring cycle and casting it separately in advance speeds the process up enormously and brings huge cost savings.

Casting with façade
-
Lower material costs, because only a small number of rentable façade formwork units are needed, working in advance of the floor-formwork crew
-
Lower labour costs, because façade and intermediate floors are separated and the even slab is easy to form
-
Less time needed, because routines are repeated and the crew soon becomes familiarised with the workflow
-
Enhanced safety because of the integrable fall barriers and because the crew works from the safety of the slab

The traditional way: Casting with table forms
Complex slab edges mean more time has to be invested in preparing and casting the entire slab as a unit. If precast façades are a prospect, the façade formwork Top 50 should be considered as an alternative to floor-edge tables.
