GK Project
Doka delivered a formwork system for the construction of the deepest tunnel that was built until now.
A 3.0 km long and 26.4 m wide immersed tunnel will connect the City of Busan, which is the second biggest City of Korea, to the island of Geoje.
The building is designed with two traffic lanes and an inbetween situated service gallery. The tunnel will be immersed to a depth of 60 m, so it will be the deepest immersed tunnel that was constructed until now. A Joint Venture around the main constructor Daewoo got the order to build the Busan-Geoje Fixed Link Project.
