| The approx. 3.9 km long by-pass around the town of Bad St. Leonhard is currently the second-largest construction project in Austria’s southern province of Carinthia. The contract section is divided into four subsections. Contractors Massivbau and Doka worked together very closely to design a highly cost-effective tunnel formwork traveller that incorporated as much of the client’s existing stocks of equipment as possible. This traveller is enabling the construction firm to cast in a weekly cycle. |
