Kaiserslautern’s Fritz-Walter-Stadium is being upgraded to meet FIFA requirements in time for the 2006 World Cup. Once the rebuilding work is finished, the stadium will be able to seat around 8000 extra football fans. The lion’s share of the stadium extension works is accounted for by forming and concreting operations.
Doka has supplied around 700 m² of Framax Xlife framed formwork and 2300 m² of Wall formwork FF20 for the visually exposed surfaces involved here, as well as 1800 m² of Dokaflex 1-2-4 for the slabs, 510 lin.m of folding platforms and sets of Climbing formwork MF 240 for the grandstand piers.
