Doka practical tip
Repositioning tableforms cranelessly
With Doka lifting and repositioning devices, you can carry out floor-slab forming operations at top speed. By making the crane unnecessary for both the horizontal and vertical repositioning operations, they simplify and optimise the logistics for the entire site. Horizontal repositioning within the same storey is carried out with the shifting trolley and attachable drive unit, saving both time and money. Vertical repositioning to the next storey is then the ob of the new Table Lifting System TLS. This is used for safe, craneless lifting of Doka tableforms to the next storey – at a speed of 10 mmin. Repositioning operations with the TLS system can carry on unhindered even during strong winds. The climbing ta-ble-lifting units, with a 10.0 m lifting range, can be craned to any point on the structure. When set up on the base slab, the TLS has a lifting range of up to 40 m. Because the crane is no longer needed for repositioning the tables, a great deal of unproductive (and thus costly) downtime can be eliminated. As the craneage saved here is then available for use elsewhere, the entire site workflow is accelerated. This saves on labour costs and boosts the contractors’ competitiveness.
