With its stunning expo presentation at the recently ended bauma 2007, Doka “wowed” more than 100,000 international customers and other interested fairgoers at its huge, specially erected 3000m²+ expo pavilion. Under the motto “Doka – forming the future!” and backed up by the new product communication claim “Safe. Fast. Efficient.”, Doka showcased its latest product developments and formwork technology trends. Held every 3 years, bauma is the world’s biggest construction fair. In fact, with around 500,000 visitors from as many as 190 different countries, and a massive 540,000 m² of exhibition space, this is the most important industry event by far.

The 18 m high Doka Pavilion, resplendent in bright Doka yellow, was the dominant landmark of Open-Air Area North, even from as far away as the motorway. Inside, the Wall Formwork, Engineering and Floor-Slab Formwork zones also acted as powerful eye-catchers, inviting visitors to stay and talk with an adviser to get the full story about all these innovations.
An open walkaround viewing terrace in the middle of the pavilion grabbed fairgoers’ attention with large-format screenings of the Doka image film and presentations of the company’s products and core areas of expertise.
Level 2 of the Doka expo pavilion, at a height of over 7 metres, housed the “Communication Centre” with a VIP catering deck for invited guests who had come to the fair from all round the world.
Once an hour, at “Showtime”, a troupe of eight acrobats performed a breathtaking show which drew thunderous applause from a spellbound trade-fair public.
