Doka USA Announces New CEO
Doka USA, a leading formwork engineering and products company, has announced that Andrew Mair has been named CEO. He replaces Dan Winters, who retired on July 1, 2008.

Formerly the managing director of Doka U.K., Mair has more than two decades of experience in the construction industry. Building on more than a decade of specific experience in the formwork industry, he has had an extensive career in operations and general multi-site management as well as a proven track-record in corporate growth. As the managing director of Doka U.K., he was responsible for all U.K. operations with additional involvement training staff from other countries. He has special expertise in the development of profitable operating centers, defining clear strategic objectives to maximize marketplace opportunities along with successful development and presentation of practical engineering solutions for major construction projects.

Andrew Mair has held several leading positions in the construction and formwork business.
“Building on my extensive knowledge of the formwork industry and tenure at Doka, it is a great honor to assume the position of Doka USA CEO,” said Mair. “Under my leadership, it is my intention to enhance our customers’ competitive edge with our high-performing formwork technology and extensive service offerings.”

Mair has an MBA in Business Studies and serves as a committee member with the Construct Organization – a U.K. organization similar to the American Society of Concrete Contractors. He is also the Chairman of the Formwork Supplier Group in the U.K.
