Automatic climbing formwork Xclimb 60

Automatic climbing formwork Xclimb 60

The all-round self-climbing system for use in building construction

Self-climbing, modular and versatile

Automatic climbing formwork Xclimb 60 is a dual-use crane-lifted or self-climbing system that can be cost-effectively deployed anywhere in the high-rise construction field.

Huge flexibility

thanks to the innovative, modular system

Benefit from the system's multi-use capability

  • for walls, for facades or as a protection screen

  • and from the option of lifting the system either by crane or as a self-climbed system using manually relocatable hydraulic lifting appliances

  • variable platforms that allow perfect adaptation to the geometry of the structure

High standard of safety

for your site crew

Safety is "built in" to all phases of the work, as

  • the guided repositioning operation is independent of the weather

  • enclosures can easily be constructed with materials that are adapted to the requirements

  • the platforms are sized to the ideal width for practical working

  • the Ladder system XS can easily be integrated

Simple modular design concept

based on a practical "construction-kit" system

Save time and money because of

  • the high degree of pre-assembly

  • the way the system simplifies planning, utilisation and handling

  • the facility for leaving service loads in place on the platforms even while these are being repositioned

The system is self-climbed up to the next casting section using portable hydraulic components. Finishing-work platforms can be attached anywhere on the scaffold.

Simply self-climbing

Lightweight, quick-mount hydraulic cylinders with a lifting mechanism reliably push up the entire climbing scaffold – complete with the formwork – until the next climbing cam is pushed past the "Guiding shoe" and automatically latches into it. To do this, each hydraulic cylinder is simply placed onto the respective "Guiding shoe".

Outstanding workplace safety

Integrable ladderways and manholes provide safe access routes between the working platforms. When designing climbing formwork solutions, the Doka planning professionals integrate all safety accessories, tailoring them to the construction project in hand.

Easy to get right first time

The Xclimb 60 system is so user-friendly that after a brief familiarisation phase supervised by a Doka formwork instructor, the site crew quickly "get it" and can then work entirely unaided.

Protection screen Xclimb 60

The full-area enclosure around the uppermost levels of the building enables all work to be carried out in complete safety, protected from all climatic influences. An integrable loading platform, or the Table Lifting System TLS, makes easy and safe work of repositioning floor-slab formwork, tools and other materials.
