MOSE system - Venice

Italy

The MOSE system will protect Venice and the lagoon from flooding by high tides. The system consists of 4 barriers made of moveable flood protection weirs. They will be installed on the lagoon openings and are designed to protect the lagoon from high tides. Doka is the partner for construction solutions at all three sites. This is where foundation chambers, dam ridges and structures for the systems are being built.
