New land with NEULANDT

NEULANDT’s portable precast plant N3P is on its first mission to Abidjan on the Ivory Coast. N3P allows for the industrial production of precast elements directly on the construction site. This creates added value at a local level and high process efficiency. The results are sustainable, affordable living spaces, as well as a better social infrastructure.

The world’s population is constantly growing. This creates a lack of affordable living space. The number of people living in metropolitan areas is increasing. NEULANDT’s portable precast plant N3P responds to the growing global challenges of the future by increasing efficiency in the production of precast elements directly on construction sites.

NEULANDT (NEU= new and LAND= land), a subsidiary of Umdasch Group Ventures, is using our unique, patented butterfly technology for maximum productivity and optimised work processes. After 4 to 6 weeks of assembly, the 70-metre long and 15-meter wide N3P is 100% operational for the industrial manufacture of precast concrete elements. The plant’s productivity can achieve an output of more than 1000 m2 panels per day or 1500 45 m2 units per year.

“It feels great to be part of a global company. NEULANDT is making a valuable contribution to the development of the precast industry in Africa."

With its first site in Abidjan, NEULANDT Ivory Coast is laying the foundations for the industrialisation of construction in a part of the world where the challenges of urban planning and access to housing are highly sensitive. In October 2022, N3P will be assembled and will be able to produce 1000 m2 of reinforced concrete elements per day, or even more if planning requires it, by December 2022.

100 locals were recruited and are receiving training from the head office team in order to guarantee a transfer of skills and 100% Ivorian added value within the short term.

Together we drive momentum

As part of the Umdasch Group, we at Doka aim to not only be economically successful, but also fulfill our ecological and social responsibilities as well as our responsibility as an employer. Therefore, we regularly set impulses within and outside our company and drive international initiatives that make our common working and living environment more sustainable.

NEULANDT Ivory Coast’s mission is to provide all players and stakeholders in the construction sector with initial insights and support along the path to industrialisation while collaborating on large-scale projects.

The whole team is excited to finally start production on the pilot site and to share and exchange knowledge during the project implementation.

Doka and the Umdasch Group stand for sustainable development. Therefore, we focus on initiatives in the sense of the "Sustainable Development Goals" of the United Nations.
