Túneles de la Línea

Tolima Department, Colombia

La Línea will be the second-longest road tunnel in Latin America, between the cities of Calarcá, Quindío and Cajamarca, Tolima in Colombia. One of the biggest challenge was to build 8 tunnels in different sites, therefor the Doka team planned a small formwork traveller with the possibility to lift the whole traveller on a lorry and move it into its next position without dismantling.

To easily overcome the longitudinal inclination of 11% and the transversal inclination of 7.7 % the formwork traveller was equipped with motorized wheels on both axis.
