Cityringen Copenhagen

Denmark

The City Circle Line (Danish: Cityringen) is a future expansion of the Copenhagen Metro system. Cityringen will consist of 17 new underground stations constructed on the same principles as the existing Copenhagen Metro net. From a technical perspective, the project is extremely complex. The city of Copenhagen is situated at sea level and the site is situated in the city center, which presents a logistic challenge.
