Linthal pumped-storage hydropower station

Switzerland

The Linthal pumped-storage hydropower station is a gigantic underground construction project. Formwork systems from Doka Schweiz were used for casting the vault-linings in the caverns (powerhouse, transformer and valve chambers). Doka Schweiz also supplied the formwork for the new 1 km long and up to 35 m tall Muttsee Dam.
