Renovation and new construction of the Olympic Stadium
The challenges of the project were a tight schedule, a rapid start of contract, great need for material, several subcontractors on site and demanding on site concreting targets, which had to be measured on site. There were also locations, both renovations and new constructions, where new TOP 50 walls were being built under finished structures without any lifting equipment.
The forehand planning and flexible actions of the Operations department provided good basis for this demanding project. Also the Engineering department provided assistance on site during the first four months, which greatly enhanced the start of the project. Because of the challenging schedule and to improve the cooperation, we met once a week to discuss and plan the next targets and the material needed in the future.
