Wienerwald Tunnel

Austria

With its geometrically challenging intersections, the emergency ventilation cavern is one of the most difficult casting sections, from the formwork-technology point of view, of the entire 13 km long Wienerwald Tunnel. It constitutes the transition zone between the bored section of tunnel and the section created by mechanical heading work.
