Jablunkov bypass

Czech Republic

Reinforced-concrete composite construction with top-placed bridge-deck slab. The bridge starts with a straight section before transitioning into a long curve. The structural steel takes the form of an open trough with diagonal struts in the cantilever-arm zone. Due to these diagonal struts, an underslung composite forming carriage was used.
