The TCA Innovative Product Awards celebrate organizations that demonstrate exceptional innovation in the construction industry, leading to improved efficiency, safety, and project outcomes. Doka Canada was recognized for the launch of DokaXact Load and Pressure Sensors, which are installed on concrete forms to monitor the forces exerted as concrete cures.

DokaXact Load sensors are designed for straightforward installation on standard tie systems, providing reliable data on tie loads for the first time. No special tools or major installation work required. DokaXact Pressure sensors are designed for monitoring fresh concrete pressure. Installation is quick and easy, because the sensors can be mounted directly on plywood and require only a 26 mm hole.

The data from both sensors is visualized in real time in the user-friendly DokaXact app. The intuitive user interface allows for simple and independent operation from a smartphone. The DokaXact web portal also provides detailed information and transparent project documentation.

The Innovative Product Award from the TCA underscores Doka’s dedication to developing cutting-edge solutions that meet the evolving needs of concrete construction professionals and the industry at large. For more details about the award, refer to the fourth quarter issue of Builders Digest, the Toronto Construction Association's magazine.
