Doka reduces its CO₂ emissions by almost a quarter
Measurable progress in Scope 1 and Scope 2
Measure, calculate, understand: Over the past few years, Doka has laid the foundation for making its Corporate Carbon Footprint tangible. This was followed by clear targets, a global roadmap and measures that are already delivering results: In 2025, Doka reduced greenhouse gas emissions from its own operations (Scope 1 and 2) by 23% compared to the 2021 baseline. Compared to 2024, this represents a further reduction of 11% – while the business continued to grow. This brings Doka another important step closer to its goal of achieving Net Zero by 2040.

Local action, global impact
Real impact happens where global strategy becomes local reality. A look at selected examples shows how this works in practice.
- Austria (Headquarters): Since 2021, Doka has reduced emissions* at its Austrian locations by more than 50%. A key lever has been the electricity supply: wherever possible, Doka generates its own renewable electricity, particularly through photovoltaic systems. Additional electricity needs at the Amstetten headquarters and Doka’s Austrian branches and production sites are covered by renewable electricity backed by Guarantees of Origin. Further measures, including Doka’s first fully electric truck at the Amstetten headquarters, contribute to additional emission reductions.
- Ireland: Doka Ireland has reduced its emissions* by 73% since 2021, including through the electrification of warehouse logistics.
- Finland: Switching to renewable electricity has enabled Doka Finland to reduce its emissions* by 80% since 2021.
- Latvia: The transition to renewable heating systems has helped Doka Latvia reduce its emissions* by 52% since 2021.

Sustainability as part of Doka's long-term strategy
With the goal of achieving Net Zero by 2040, Doka is pursuing a long-term transformation pathway. In addition to reducing its own emissions, Doka is creating greater transparency around the climate impact of its products and developing solutions that support more efficient use of resources – from durable and reusable formwork and scaffolding systems to Product Carbon Footprints and digital solutions. In this way, Doka helps customers better understand emissions and resource use in construction projects and take targeted action to reduce them.
In parallel, Doka is working closely with suppliers to further reduce Scope 3 emissions across the value chain.
