The Astaka @ 1 Bukit Senyum

An ultra-opulent residential development in Johor, The Astaka boasts two iconic towers with 65 and 70 storeys respectively and tipped to be the tallest residential towers in Southeast Asia. Protection screen Xclimb 60 able to protect items being dropped and the weather which boost the productivity.

Challenge:

  • selection of aluminium formwork as solution for typical floor brings the risk of falling items eg small accessories of the formwork.
  • A lot of non-typical areas and uneven design at the building edge.
  • requirement of using steel for working platform.

Solution:

  • Perforated sheeting is not only avoiding falling items and people, also ensure the good level of brightness and air ventisation.
  • The flexibility of climbing profile`s location allow more freedom during design.
  • with strong climbing profile and climbing shoes, heavier steel platform is not limiting the excution of protection screen.
