Reformed Practice Primary School "Ferenc Kölcsey", Debrecen

Hungary

A new gymnasium was built on the grounds of the Reformed Practice Primary School "Ferenc Kölcsey" in Debrecen. The project contractors selected Doka's Framax Xlife, Eurex 60 550 and Staxo 40 system formwork units for erecting the building structure accommodating the 2-story hall measuring two times 600 square metres. Casting the 6 m high monolithic reinforced concrete walls took only one work cycle. Use of the Framax stripping corners allowed for fast repositioning of the formwork between the piers without dismantling.
