Bridge structure 67-1 on A73 autobahn

Germany

This unique composite bridge, with a tubular-steel truss as its load-bearing construction, was built near Kösten in northern Bavaria and is the only bridge of its kind in the whole of Germany. It crosses the A73 autobahn at an angle of 68°, with the main trusses of the bridge rigidly restrained in the massive abutments.
