St. Christoph biomass-fired co-generation plant

Austria

A biomass plant is under construction near the parking lot to the east of the Heinrich-Findelkind Gallery in St. Christoph. The co-generation plant with state-of-the-art flue-gas cleaning is designed to cover about 92 percent of the heat requirement for the town of St. Christoph. The building will have a footprint of 65 by 15 metres and will house a furnace- and boilerhouse and a wood-chip bunker. The in-situ concrete outside walls are 10.50 m high in fair-faced concrete quality.
