Science Centre, Wolfsburg

Germany

Poured with SCC, the 10 conical pillars of this structure came with some stringent quality specifications regarding the pressure of the fresh concrete, the geometry and the quality of the concrete surfaces. The meticulous 3D design work on the board-faced, pre-assembled Top 50 elements, complete with collision
testing of the form-ties, ensured fitting accuracy and made them easy to assemble on the site.
