The "digitalBAU", a new trade fair format for digital building, opened its doors in Cologne from 11th to 13th February 2020. On a total area of approximately 17,000 m², 270 exhibitors presented their latest products, services and visions on the subject of "Digitalisation in the Building Industry" over three days of the fair.

At Stand 546 in Hall 7, visitors were able to get to know Doka's services in the fields of BIM design and simulation, Concremote, Contakt, Smart Pouring and Yard Management Service on an area of 58 m². They also found a specially designed contact area and an "experience area". Here, the focus was on Augmented Reality (AR) and the Remote Instructor, a software solution for real-time collaboration on the construction site that has been specially developed for the construction industry. After three auspicious days at digitalBAU, the experts from Doka were able to draw a satisfying conclusion.

Several test projects were agreed directly at the stand, and this is an impressive demonstration of the priority that digitalisation has now achieved for construction.
