Bridge Dumanja Jaruga

Janjina, Croatia

The total length of the Dumanja Jaruga Bridge is 500m with a maximum span of 120m. Most of the viaduct was built in free balanced cantilever method using 4 pairs of the Doka Cantilever Forming Traveller. The change of the cross slope was a big challenge, the distance of the launching rail to the deck had to be constantly adapted to the variable curve radius (S-curve). The area of the 23m long approach spans were supported by Doka UniKit shoring tower 480, UniKit primary and secondary beams and custom SL-1 towers. Doka delivered a real added value by executing the formwork planning in BIM design.
