Deurganckdok Lock (Waasland Harbour)

Construction is under way on a second lock in the Waasland Harbour, the complex of docks on the left bank of the Scheldt in the Antwerp Harbour. Together with the Berendrecht Lock in the north of the Antwerp Harbour, this new lock will be the largest in the world. It will ensure that the Waasland Harbour will play an important part in the development of the Antwerp Harbour.
