Even as they enter the Doka Cube at bauma, visitors passing through the entrance lobby will already have experienced a foretaste of the company’s new visual identity and its tradeshow presentation, which takes as its motto “Pathbreaking. Beyond solutions.”. “What Doka has to offer goes far beyond mere products. We work closely with our customers to devise individualised solutions for every construction project. Our value proposition is that when we develop the formwork concept, we incorporate aspects and experience that give our customers new insights and create genuine added value for them”, says Doka Group Chairman Josef Kurzmann, explaining the motto. Four different theme worlds will give visitors an overview of formwork solutions for all sectors of construction: Residential, Highrise, Transport and Energy. This lets visitors quickly find their way around and locate the topics that interest them most.
Experience from construction projects all round the globe finds its way into the new product developments and advances from Doka and provides the basis for the innovations – in both systems and services. Says Kurzmann: “As a supplier that goes ‘Beyond solutions’, we work alongside our customers in all stages of a construction project, from the development stage through until close-out. To do this, we offer a wide range of services to ensure that the very best use is made of the formwork systems.” The exact scope of the Doka service is defined here by a detailed performance specification, creating clarity right from the outset about the benefits that can be achieved. As early as in the run-up to a project, then, Doka’s advisory services can provide valuable insights into the technical feasibility, and decisive pointers to aid the choice of optimum, cost-effective forming and construction methods. In later phases of the project, Doka services such as 3D planning, the ‘Ready-to-Use’ pre-assembly service, Formwork Instructors or formwork co-ordination all help to optimise the construction workflow, save resources and keep work on schedule.
