Austerstraumen & Vesterstraumen Bridges

Norway

The Austerstraumen (196m) and Vesterstraumen (305m) bridges carry the E10 road across the Øksfjord in the Lofoten Islands of northern Norway. They form part of the 'Lofast' project to connect Lofoten to the mainland with no need for ferry crossings. These classic composite bridges were opened to traffic in 2007.
