Brayton Point Cooling Tower

United States of America

Two cooling towers with their bottom shell cross-sections measuring 113m were the focus of the Brayton Point Power Station project. These cooling towers tapered to approx. 68m around the middle. 114 climbing units of the Doka cooling tower formwork system SK175 were used for each cooling tower. It took 97 pouring sections to reach a shell height of 142.00m.
