The structure-attached crane-lifted climbing system
The Guided climbing formwork Xclimb 60 is a system that is guided on vertical profiles fixed to the structure, even during repositioning. The entire climbing unit is safely and easily repositioned in a single crane cycle, even during high winds.
on various building components
modular system components allow it to be used as formwork for high-rise cores, piers and facades, or as a protection screen
subsequent finishing-work is speeded up by having up to two freely plannable follow-up platforms
easy to adapt to different weather conditions, as it permits several different types of enclosure
in every phase of the work
safe repositioning, even in windy conditions, as the system is linked to the structure at all times
integrated platforms, stair towers and ladders provide complete safety during working operations and for up-and-down access
speeds up the workflow, as the crew enjoy an enhanced feeling of safety at all heights
for your site
saves on craneage, as payloads can also be raised along with the platforms when these are 'climbed'
less crane-time needed, as the climbing scaffold and formwork are moved up as a single unit
the lightweight guiding-shoes mean that work requires less physical effort
Guided climbing formwork Xclimb 60
One crane-lift cycle is all it takes to raise the climbing scaffold (incl. formwork), swiftly and independently of the wind conditions, as it is guided up the side of the structure.
A sturdy, safe connection
The system is firmly attached to the structure by the vertical profile and the guiding shoe, in every phase of every cycle. During repositioning, the vertical profile is always safely guided in at least two 'Guiding shoes'.
High workplace safety
Integrable ladderways and manholes provide safe access routes between the working platforms. When designing climbing formwork solutions, the Doka planning professionals integrate all safety accessories, tailoring them to the construction project in hand.
Easy to get right first time
The Xclimb 60 system is so user-friendly that after a brief familiarisation phase supervised by a Doka Formwork Instructor, the site crew will have mastered all the worksteps involved.
Whether on highrise cores, piers or industrial structures – the system's modular design concept allows the Guided climbing formwork Xclimb 60 to be used for many different types of structure. What is more, the system can also be used a protection screen with various different types of enclosure.
