Stadium in Nagyerdő Woodlands of Debrecen

Hungary

A modern stadium accommodating 20,020 spectators (UEFA classification IV) was built to replace the old weather-beaten arena dating back to 1934 in the Nagyerdő Woodlands of Debrecen. Doka's Frami Xlife system was selected for substructure operations. The stands, stairways, reinforcement walls and production of floor additions called for use of the Framax Xlife, Staxo 40 and Dokaflex systems. The stadium offers a special feature, a curved 1,100 m long path for walkers and runners circles the arena in curved at 7.5 m height. The average thickness of the walkway suspended in the air is 36 cm, the formwork area amounted to 10,500 m² that required 3,030 m³ of concrete.
