Next week the Remote Instructor will be presented for the first time to Doka USA in Houston and a customer in Texas. In addition, Doka's Operations Academy (OPAC) recently acquired a licence for the software, which it will use internally for training purposes.

Remote Instructor is a software solution developed specially for the construction industry to support real-time collaboration on the construction site. Using intelligent video telephony, the system enables live support for dealing with formwork-related issues by video link to Doka experts, but also for other uses within a construction company. This avoids uncertainties and errors, reduces downtimes on the construction site and ultimately saves costs. The ability to set markers to highlight specific image sections and details, simplifies communication when faced with more complex situations.
The software works on the mainstream operating systems (Android, iOS, Windows), is compatible with all mobile devices and can also be used hands-free via Head-mounted Tablet (HMT) from Realwear.
