Novovoronezh cooling tower

The project at the giant Novovoronezh power-station complex was to build a new cooling tower with a 120 m diameter at the bottom of the shell, tapering to approx. 72 m by the waist of the tower. 120 climbing units of the Doka cooling-tower formwork system SK175 were in action during the construction operations, reaching the final shell height of 160.10 m in 109 casting steps.
