Austria/Malaysia, February 16th, 2024 – Doka, a global leader in formwork and scaffolding, now combines its strengths with Malaysian-based MFE Formwork Technology, market leader in monolithic aluminium formwork. Doka and MFE – together, they are now the major player in the Asia-Pacific region. For customers, this means innovative solutions from a single source.

International formwork and scaffolding expert Doka has been awarded the contract to provide its comprehensive formwork expertise on the Fehmarnbelt Tunnel project, which on completion will be the world's largest immersed tunnel for road and rail traffic.

Doka præsenterer sin seneste sortimentsudvidelse i form af stilladsløsninger på verdens største fagmesse for byggemaskiner, entreprenørmaskiner, maskiner til minedrift, byggefartøjer og byggeudstyr – bauma 2022 – som åbner dørene for publikum i perioden fra 24. til 30. oktober. Doka konsoliderer sit engagement i at skabe ægte værdi for sine kunder ved at fremvise sine imponerende nye stilladsløsninger og nyudviklinger i forskallingsporteføljen samt en række highlights inden for digitalisering og bæredygtighed. De nye produkter og services kan opleves på Dokas stand (FN.421 – FN.423),
som strækker sig over intet mindre end 4.500 m2.

I et godt stykke tid har byggebranchen oplevet et boom i B2B e-handelen, der jo allerede ubetvivlelig er en vigtig del af industrilandskabets DNA. Siden pandemien ramte verden sidste år, er e-handel blevet endnu vigtigere og rangerer derfor blandt de mest populære samtaleemner. Med sin egen online butik og myDoka kundeportal har Doka skabt en imponerende og succesrig kombination af salg og kundeservice gennem de sidste par år. I 2021 udvider Doka sin onlinebutik til yderligere syv lande.

The new powder coating plant is one of the most modern plants of its kind in Europe and one of the largest production investments Doka has made in decades. The plant also confirms Doka’s clear commitment to environmentally friendly industrial production based on state-of-the-art digital technologies and to meeting its customers’ needs: soon all frames from the Framax product range can be powder coated quickly and flexibly in a wide range of colours.

Doka has been awarded an Innovation Award of Excellence by the CTBUH 2021 Awards Programme for its DokaXact system. The award will be presented during the CTBUH 2021 Conference, which will be held virtually for the first time from 18-20 May.

‘Sustainability’ is one of the biggest buzzwords of our time. However, it can be far more than just a buzzword, as two inspirational initiatives from the Umdasch Group and its subsidiary Doka demonstrate. The first is an award honouring new climate-friendly ideas within the company, in which all employees were invited to participate. Rettidigt op til VM i fodbold i 2022 opstår der med Qatar Towers et nyt luksushotelkompleks ved Qatars kyst. Ud over hotelværelser skal de lidt over 200 m høje tårne give plads til apartments, kontorer, fritidsfaciliteter og restauranter. Til opførelsen af bygningskernerne blev der anvendt klatreforskallinger fra Doka.
