The Doka composite forming car­ri­age makes for fast, safe con­struc­tion of bridges on which a con­crete deck slab is joined to a steel su­per­struc­ture. The trav­elling composite forming car­ri­age car­ries a large area of pre-as­sem­bled composite bridge-deck formwork that can be cy­cled with­out be­ing dis­man­tled. Sim­ple sys­tem-grid

In the longitudinal direction of the bridge, the increment-grid of the Doka composite forming carriage is dictated by a 5 m long and 2 m high longitudinal girder. In the transverse direction, two transverse frameworks joined by an adjustment zone (compensation girders) permit any desired dimension. The adjustable spindle struts, and the large number of bolting positions in the steel girders, together make for optimum adaptability of the composite forming carriage. The new System beam NG allows more flexibility with the transverse frameworks in the longitudinal. This means that the transverse frameworks can be better positioned to take account of loads or geometrical parameters. In this way, the Composite forming carriage can be adapted to the structure geometry even more flexibly.

Safe­ty on the struc­ture

With its suspended finishing-work platform levels, the Doka composite forming carriage provides a high standard of safety. Only a few extra safety components are needed to create the ideal basis for an all-round enclosure.

By providing barrier-free access to the entire roadway deck, this type of carriage ensures a high standard of safety, especially on wide bridge cross-sections with diagonal struts.

For shorter superstructures and medium-length bridges involving only a few repositioning cycles, the crane-shiftable Bridge formwork ParaTop is available.
