VALUE EVERY VOICE.

Kenilworth, NJ March 25, 2024 — Doka USA is marking the 2024 Construction Safety Week by by recommitting to safety as the foundation for everything we do.

More than 70 construction firms across the U.S. and Canada have joined forces for annual Safety Week, a construction industry-wide education and awareness event. Safety Week 2024 will be held May 6-10. This year's theme is "Value Every Voice."

Throughout the year, Doka USA is building upon a strong internal safety culture with their dedicated operations and yard teams, preassembly crews, field service teams, as well as office employees. Safety week creates an opportunity to not only to recommit to our internal safety but also to demonstrate the advantages of our built-in safety features in all our high quality, formwork, shoring, and scaffolding solutions, and well-thought out and designed safety systems.

The safety and success of any construction project is determined by the individual decisions and actions of every team member. That's why this year's Safety Week emphasizes the importance of working together to build a culture that values every voice, and ensures everyone in every role feels seen, heard and supported.

Building strong teams who work safely is our most important job. We must work together to create a culture and environment where everyone feels they can step in, speak up and take action to keep their team and job site safe. That’s why this year’s Safety Week emphasizes the strength that comes from empowering everyone to own and act on safety. “Construction is both physically and mentally demanding. We believe as leaders in the formwork, shoring and scaffolding industry, we have a responsibility to acknowledge the challenges our customers and workers face and create an environment where safety is a priority and easy, whether that’s in our Doka facilities or on jobsites,” said Michael Kennedy, CEO, Doka USA.

“This week is a chance to renew our commitment to each other to create a safe, supported environment across the industry. Doka has over 600 employees and yard workers at 10 locations. For us, Safety Week is a call to action, an opportunity to show each other what it means to be safe and why it’s important to each of us,” said Kennedy. “We are proud to participate in Safety Week, value every voice, and recognize the many elements that go into job site safety,” said Kennedy. “There is nothing more important than keeping our teams and customers safe.”
