The new buildings for the school and boarding hostel are finished in fair-faced concrete. Due to their punctuated façades, the new parts of the building blend in harmoniously with the existing fabric. The school's interior rooms are kept in a white and concrete colour scheme.
Doka provided the formwork solution for both cupolas - one measuring nine and the other seventeen metres in diameter - for the educational centre and planetarium in the centre of Pilsen. Another solution was developed for construction of the building and the connecting bridge.
Designed to seat 68,000 spectators, this architecturally outstanding stadium in Cape Town is wrapped in a visually striking translucent building envelope. The tight timetable, and the large number of piers and stepped beams to be formed, called for the use of high-performance formwork.
Designed by architect Paul Bretz, this cube-shaped, 68 m x 68 m two and three-storey new building houses the Luxembourg motion-picture collection of the Centre National de l'Audiovisuel (CNA) and stands out for its 24,300 m² of high-quality fair-faced concrete walls.
_Understanding the challenges of the project is the basis for successful implementation. Doka specialists will address your expectations. The goal is efficient and safe realisation of the construction project.
